Show normal icons in the app list
As it is now, if an app is in favorites with a customized icon it will appear with the same icon in the app list. This doesn't look good for my eyes. It would be better to show app’s standard icons in this list.

I fully agree that there should be an option to decouple the icon themes on the home screen and app list. I prefer to see default icons in the app list (to distinguish many obscure apps/games that don’t have custom icons in packs). But I also prefer to curate the icons on my home screen to create a nice look there.
A closely-related feature request is this one. I wonder if these requests should be merged?
