Description:
The status bar intermittently disappears when switching between apps, particularly when returning to an app (like Chrome) from the recent apps screen. This issue persists across all apps once triggered, including when returning to the home screen. The only temporary workaround found is to switch the default home launcher to the System Launcher, which immediately restores the status bar—even if you switch back to Niagara Launcher afterward. However, the issue reappears randomly after further use.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Use Niagara Launcher as the default home launcher.
2. Open any app (e.g., Chrome).
3. Tap the Recent Apps button.
4. Tap back into Chrome (or any app) from the recent apps screen.
5. Notice that the status bar is missing.
6. Try going back to the home screen — the status bar remains hidden.
7. Go to Settings > Apps > Default apps > Home app and switch to System Launcher.
8. The status bar reappears immediately.
9. Switch back to Niagara Launcher — the status bar stays visible (for now).
10. Eventually, the issue may recur after more use following similar interactions.
Expected Behavior:
The status bar should always be visible unless explicitly hidden by a full-screen app or a system setting.
Actual Behavior:
The status bar vanishes and doesn’t return even after navigating to the home screen or switching apps—only switching the default launcher restores it.
