Swipe down to Open Search

The ability to pull down on your favorite apps to open Search, instead of opening the Notification Drawer. This feature could be a set of two drop down action buttons in the settings: A drop down option for the function of a Swipe Down, and A drop down option for the function of a Swipe Up.

Personally, this would massively improve productivity, as pulling down from the top, my thumbs are already placed at the keyboard level ready to type and enter an app. In the current implementation, I find myself having to pull up twice to induce the search, which leaves my thumb raised from my device and away from the keyboard. I'm well aware that this is a very min-max way of thinking about this feature, but I believe it would genuinely improve my productivity in a meaningful way.
