Niagara Launcher already has a weather and battery percent widget (with Niagara Pro)
This is purely feedback on your feature request. I am simply a community member offering feedback and advice for requests and any bugs you may encounter.
Simple?
System widgets could easily become quite complicated, especially if they're showing stats such as RAM and screen on time, which may confuse some users who aren't familiar with terms such as ROM and data.
Impactful?
Not really, as people who are wanting system stats on their home screen would likely already have a third party widget to show this information
Universal?
It would be a feature that could work well across all devices, showing different metrics on the home screen.
Independent?
No, it would add extra clutter to the home screen and settings menu.
