Theme color does not update from wallpaper on Samsung Galaxy M06 5G
The automatic theme color extraction from the wallpaper does not appear to work on a Samsung Galaxy M06 5G.
The user reports that Niagara’s theme colors do not change automatically when the wallpaper is changed, even though “Wallpaper and System” is selected as the theme color source.
The user also owns a Samsung Galaxy M14 5G, where the same feature works correctly.
Additionally, Niagara displays a “Can’t Show Wallpaper” message in the theme preview on the affected Galaxy M06 5G.
Steps to reproduce the behavior
Set or change the device wallpaper.
Open Niagara Settings → Themes → Edit Current Theme.
Open Theme colour.
Select “Wallpaper and System”.
Return to Niagara.
The Niagara theme colors do not adapt to the wallpaper.
Expected behavior
Niagara should automatically use colors extracted from the current wallpaper when “Wallpaper and System” is selected.
Actual behavior
The theme colors remain unchanged despite changing the wallpaper.
A “Can’t Show Wallpaper” message is also displayed in the theme preview.

Thanks for the detailed comparison with the M14, that is a helpful pairing. This is a known OEM difference: not every manufacturer forwards Android's wallpaper colors to other apps, so on some devices Niagara never receives a palette to adapt to. The details are here: Color system.
Two things worth checking on the M06: that the system's own wallpaper color palette is enabled in Android's settings, and that Niagara's theme color source is set to adapt to the wallpaper. The "Can't Show Wallpaper" message in the preview points the same way, since Niagara is not being given the wallpaper to read.
