Tiktok LIVE PIP not working with Niagara Launcher

Bug Reports

I tried making tiktok live videos be in PIP but they don’t work. It’s only Tiktok because Youtube’s PIP works. I quit Niagara and used One UI Home (Samsungs default launcher) and Tiktok’s PIP for LIVE videos work normally thus isolating the issue to Niagara.

Steps:

  • Open Tiktok

  • Open a LIVE video

  • Go to homescreen

  • No PIP show up

Lots of similar bug reports on this issue going back months. No sign it will be fixed 😢
