Two column widget in foldable devices

Hello. It would be nice to have a two column widget on any screen. This makes sense now with foldable phones, especially with the wide model (Samsung and Apple). As it currently is, you get two columns for the widgets only if you use the phone in landscape. I have been using foldable phones (Samsung) for several years now and it feels like a waste of space in the inside screen when you unfold the device and use it in portrait mode (I have the new fold 8 wide). Thanks.
