Unable to reply from homepage notification

Since yesterday (29 Aug) I've not been able to reply from the WhatsApp notifications on the homepage. I click on the ‘Type’ box and it is unresponsive, i.e. the keyboard doesn't activate. I have never had this issue before yesterday.

I have tried it with both Gboard and SwiftKey. I have also tried restarting Niagara
