And also calendars. Niagara already has access to calendars for the calendar widget, so no more access required to do this search too.

I like the idea of Universal/Deep search more then adding new search engines. The Universal Search could include app shortcut, files, settings and results from Wikipedia, youtube…much more. If you need more clear idea please give it a look at kvaesitso launcher’s search. One and only thing I liked about kvaesitso.

This is what I liked about sesame integration so much. The settings shortcuts, the direct contact shortcuts (for whatsapp, telegram etc).

Pixel search is good example but there should be option to choose apps or else search results would get cluttered

Exactly. After sesame is expired, this has become a need of the time. I would love to see it implemented TODAY!

A better search would be greatly appreciated. Sesame is no longer getting updated, and the simple list in which Niagara displays its results is really holding the usability back for me.

Also being able to display search results on the bottom first would be great.

They can color-code the Niagara dots in the search to make it look less cluttered. For example, a red dot for a YouTube search, blue for Twitter, etc.

I'd be happy if the gesture could be mapped to system universal search, which can be triggered from the notification shade (on Galaxy devices, at least) - if doing so would make implementation easier.
