Upcoming calendar events don't show for 1 account, but work for another..

I have two calendars, one shows upcoming events and the other doesn't. Both have sharing enabled and event filters enabled. I have confirmed the broken one syncs from my phone to Google's servers by checking the calendar in a desktop browser, and also the android calendar widget shows the information correctly.

I have deleted all calendar data and resynced, enabled and disabled sharing, filters, and niagara upcoming events; restarted the launcher after changes; restarted my phone; and compared settings between both accounts on the desktop version.

Niagara sees the calendar in the filters, but no events populate when “Events” are enabled.

The only difference I'm aware of between the two accounts was the non-working one had the calendar name changed in the past and was returned to its default name.
