Wallpaper changes to default when I choose a custom wallpaper from my gallery
I tried changing my wallpaper to a photo I made in my gallery through the settings (my themes), but once I click save the wallpaper is back to default instead

Thanks for reporting! Two things would help us narrow this down. Does the wallpaper jump back to the default right after you tap save, or does it stick for a while and reset later? And does it stay if you set the same photo as your wallpaper from your gallery app or Android's own wallpaper picker instead of through Niagara's themes?
That second test tells us a lot. Some devices and wallpaper apps refuse a wallpaper handed to them by another app, in which case the picture never reaches the system. If setting it outside Niagara sticks while the theme editor keeps falling back to the default, the problem is on our side and we will dig into it.
A screenshot or a short screen recording of the moment it flips back would be great as well.
