Weather won't show do to an error

Error message: NoWeatherDataException(st missing)

Error occurred with Niagara Launcher v1.16.15 on a Xiaomi device which runs Android 16 on 2026-07-17T17:16:40Z. My crash user id is 'none'.

Steps to reproduce:

  • Turn on the weather

  • Set it automatically or to a fixed location doesn't matter I tried a few locations

    Thanks for reporting, including the error text. The forecast comes from OpenWeather, and that message means Niagara did not get usable data back rather than that your location is wrong, which fits the fact that changing locations did not help.

    Could you check whether it still happens on the current Niagara version? Several releases have gone out since 1.16.15. If it does, please say so here and mention whether a VPN or an ad blocker is active on the device, since both can block the request.
