Ready made themes are not applying the wallpapers on both screens. When I try to switch to the inner screen after applying to the home screen, the wallpaper of the inner screen still uses the old one. This happens if I do the same thing in reverse.

    Thanks for reporting! Another Fold 8 owner ran into exactly this a day earlier and wrote it up with full reproduction steps: Themes not applying wallpaper consistently on folding device. Following and upvoting that post is the best way to get updates on it, and anything your setup does differently is very welcome there.

    They also found a workaround that might tide you over: apply the theme you want on the outer screen, then unfold and apply a different theme on the inner screen, and only then apply the theme you actually want on the inner screen. According to that report the last step only changes the inner wallpaper if a different theme was applied in between.
