Show notification badge / dot instead of preview text

Feature Request

Niagara Launcher's way of showing notification badges is to display preview text on the entry showing the first couple of lines of the pending notification.

To keep the user interface more minimal, it would be good to have an option to show a little badge or dot instead.

    Been asking for this for a while. I think it not only keeps with the minimalist ethos but adds functionality.

    please dont disable notification preview. I only use niagra because of this

    The notification previews are distracting on my home screen. Better would be an option to use dots to show me i need to check an app's notifications. Touching the app title with the dot could open the preview or the app .

    Preview is an excellent feature for selected apps. Per app options to disable or use an indicator would be welcome, if this is important to people.

    That would be a great addition, and minimalist too! I used Nova Launcher for a long time before, and it allowed me to turn on these notification badges!

    I am also searching for this feature. It is very helpful. Please add this feature for atleast favourite apps.

    Showing a simple dot will really be helpful. And I think using dots instead of numbers will maintain the minimalist nature of Niagara.

    It is extremely important to have a dot above the app to show that it needs to be opened. Because otherwise, we'll be opening it all the time to see if there are any notifications, and we'll waste time.

    For example, if someone sent me a WhatsApp message, just show a small red dot above the WhatsApp icon.

    Notification Dot Beside Favourite App on Home Screen

    The home screen with just favourite apps is superb. Would be great if we can have a notification dot next to the app icon to indicate that there is a notification/action needed. This avoid having to pull down the notification summary drawer and still keeps the home screen clean.
