More items in the widget stack

Feature Request

Currently, it is possible to stack up to four widgets. We understand the desire to remove or increase this limit.

However, it is important to note that widgets can consume significant phone resources, potentially leading to performance and stability issues.

Currently, we do not plan to offer the option to remove this limit. Nevertheless, we may consider increasing the limit in future updates.

    I get what you're saying about performance and the idea behind the launcher, but here's my user scenario: I need to check my work, personal and pet-project inboxes, which is almost hitting the limit of four widgets. As someone with allergies, I need a weather app widget with detailed info and notes. It's already 5, so I'd suggest setting the limit to 4 as the default setting.

    This seems like an arbitrary design choice on the level of “I know what's good for you, not you”. For those of us with powerful phones we should be able to have as many widgets as we want. The whole reason I started this 7 day trial was because the prospect of vertically scrolling widgets was very appealing to me, but being limited to 4 is very disappointing to say the least. And a widget stack, I might as well just uninstall and go back to my system launcher for horizontal scrolling.

    As a user, I should have the freedom to stack as many widgets as I want. You could display a warning regarding performance.

    Instead of increasing the limit, it’d be massively helpful if we can have one more widget stack. For someone who gets distracted easily, increasing the limit might be counter productive since the person has to scroll through other widgets.

    I hope in the future you will increase the widgets stacks. What about the phone recourse is it the choice of the user.

    Limiting this option is unnecessary. A warning system would be far more logical than a total restriction. I am more than capable of assessing the risks and making my own decisions.

    it should The widgets are limited to just 4. It should be unlimited, since I have so many favorite apps. For me, this is very important because I can access them directly. Kind regards
