After locking screen by Quick lock gesture the homepage should appear after unlocking screen
When I lock my screen by double tapping the alphabets (Quick lock gesture) and then unlock my phone, my screen remains on the last position where it moved due to tapping the alphabet.
Say, I randomly tapped on the ‘d’ alphabet to lock my screen. Then when I unlocked my phone, the screen still remains on the app list showing the ‘d’ section of the apps (which is not necessary).
Where showing the home screen will be more convenient.
As the purpose of tapping the alphabet (randomly) was to lock the screen not to see the apps starting with ‘d’.
While double tapping the alphabet, the screen is moved to the app list instantly, it's okay. But after unlocking it should come to the home screen.
This problem doesn't occur when I double tap on the empty space over the alphabets.

Start the home screen after locking by double-clicking the alphabet
Can you make the phone show the home screen instead of the application screen after unlocking it when we lock it before by double-clicking on the alphabet?
Thanks

Someone from the Niagara users’ community made me aware of this. This is not a problem at all. It was just lack of understanding from my side.
Thanks.

Yes, as you've noticed. The behavior already gets you back to the home screen as long as you wait 3 seconds before unlocking your phone again.
