In contact search, add buttons for phone and SMS
Similar to how Pixel Launcher’s contact search works, by offering the phone and SMS buttons next to the contact name upon searching it.
Sesame integration almost does this, but it creates new rows for each action. And since Sesame is being sunset, it may be a good idea to incorporate some of its most useful features into Niagara natively.

Thanks for the suggestion.
We will definitely be looking further into this. It sounds like a good idea, but there is one issue. To start calls and messages directly we would require additional permission (as some have already stated), but that should be fine.
While I do not want to confirm this will be added, the likeliness is quite high :)

Maybe a simple call button and a second customizable call to action icon that can open up the prefer messaging/text app for that contact such as messages, messenger, Whatsapp, telegram, Google voice, email/chat, video, etc

This feature would be really essential! It was very useful to me when I used Smart Launcher. Besides phone and SMS, it would be great to also have two shortcuts for WhatsApp and Telegram, always linked to that contact!

This is so essential , it might required some extra permissions but it would be a great and very useful feature.

I loved this feature in Sesame so having it in Niagara would be amazing. If it could also include a button for WhatsApp I would be even happier.

This is very much needed. After searching the contact it's useful to just directly call the contact by pressing a call icon

Call Button After Contact Search
After searching for a contact, we should be able to directly call the person instead of redirecting to the contacts app. Because even if it's helpful to search a contact, after searching the contact if it's opens the contact app, the search feature doesn't seem to be of any use.

Starting the phone app is a main function that should not be missing. That is the main reason why I am not a premium customer yet.
Please set the right priorities instead of introducing new designs.
