Allow Keyboard Shortcuts on Home Screen/Option to Turn Off App-Search on Home Screen

On Unihertz keyboard phone, similar to the communicator, the feature of launching apps from home screen using dedicated shortcuts assigned to keys on the physical keyboard is great. Currently, Niagara prioritizes app-search and cannot be turned off, so when the key assigned to launch an app is pressed, it searched for apps with that letter rather than launching the app. Being able to turn off typing to search for apps would be a great feature!
