Thanks for flagging this! It looks like the same problem another user described in more detail here: Unable to reply from homepage notification, where tapping the reply field on the home screen does not bring up the keyboard. Upvoting and following that post is the best way to stay in the loop.
It would help us a lot if you added your device, Android version and Niagara version over there, plus whether this started after a recent Niagara update. A few reports of this came in over the last days, so every extra data point counts.
