Extend search to local files, settings, and optionally notes
Niagara search works great for apps and contacts. Adding local file search (like document.pdf) and system settings access (like Hotspot or Battery) would save taps every day.
Key Additions:
Files: Search and open local files and downloads directly.
Settings: Jump straight into nested system settings.
Notes (Bonus): Search notes content if feasible given Android app fragmentation.
Why it fits Niagara:
It keeps the launcher minimal and distraction-free while removing the need to dig through file managers and settings menus.

Thanks for the suggestion! Both parts are already being tracked on the board, so upvoting them there is the most useful thing you can do:
System settings and other sources in search: Universal Search
Local files: File and folder search in swipe up search
We work through requests roughly by upvotes, so votes on those two posts push the idea further than a new post would, and you'll get updates when their status changes.
