QWERTY phone request!

Feature Request

Can a setting to turn off the search option become a thing? I'd like to use “one click” short cuts to open apps, but due to Niagara search coming up, it will not work! I feel this should be toggleable for people who want to use these shortcuts to open an app. Please consider, and reach out if you need any clarification on my request! 😁

    Thanks for the request! The same wish came in a day earlier, so it is worth joining forces over there: Physical Keyboard Shortcuts vs Search. Upvoting that post is the best way to push it, since we work through requests roughly by upvotes.

    Something that might already help today: the number keys 1 to 9 launch the nth app in your list right from the home screen, and Tab opens the app list. The full list of shortcuts is here: Mouse and Keyboard Support.
