Recent app cannot be selected
The recent app is not opening even though I touched it 10 times. The animation when touched is ok but the app does not open. I have to go the app list and select the app. This is not just the most recent app. It is the same for all recents.
Pls fix this ASAP.
Thankyou.

Thanks for reporting this, and for checking other launchers first. The same thing is already being tracked here: Can't open apps via recently used apps overview, where the tap animation plays but the app never comes to the front and only the app list works.
Several people reporting it are on Redmi and Poco devices like yours, and they say restarting the phone clears it for a while, so that is worth a try in the meantime.
