Whenever I close any app it automatically switches to my default launcher.
It's really annoying and I have tried everything from turning on devloper options to training off developer option resetting my phone updating my phone everything you could think of.
It started happening after I updated my phone yesterday night.

Sorry about the trouble, and the detail that it started right after a system update is useful. Other vivo users are collecting the same problem here: I have to switch to Niagara launcher occassionally, so upvoting that keeps the reports together.
The step that helps most is exempting Niagara from battery optimization, plus allowing it to run in the background and locking it in the recent apps view, since the system stopping Niagara in the background is the usual cause rather than the default setting itself.
