After updating to Niagara Launcher 1.16.7, setting a wallpaper through Niagara appears to skip Android’s usual selection dialog for choosing Home screen, Lock screen, or both. The wallpaper is applied directly to both screens. Open an image from the phone’s wallpaper or gallery settings. Select Niagara Launcher / Niagara wallpaper option. Apply the wallpaper. The wallpaper is set directly without showing the Home screen / Lock screen selection.

As it is now there are to many steps involved to create a folder. Needs to be better streamlined.. such as selecting and holding an app icon, and an having anadditional popup option “create folder from this app” or something similar.

Hi! I had a feature request. Please make it possible to create a gap between Niagara Widget and the custom widget on the home screen. So, in other words it can be possible to have Niagara Widget at the top and other widgets/apps at the bottom.

After the latest oppo find x9 pro system Upgrade, when I press the home button all launchers seem to “close”. I see the blank wallpaper for 1 second, but not the launcher itself. Therefore the global search, which used to work when I hit the home button when I am on the home screen of Niagara, doesn't reliably pull up. As this happens to be now with all other tested third party launchers, I sadly believe it's nothing you guys can fix. But it is so annoying that I must think of switching to the system launcher - after years of being a so happy Niagara pro user. But I still wanted to report it. Maybe you guys find a “workaround”. Meanwhile I'll try to find a way to get along with this stupid bug.

Previously there was a change wallpaper button in Niagara settings. At some point recently this is no longer showing. I've played around with restarting Niagara and restarting my phone but this option is now just missing and doesn't display. Do I need to reinstall niagara?

Issue: The current colour picker in the new themes let's us choose one base colour and it auto-assigns the primary, secondary and accent colours based on the selection. While it works great and is really minimal, it does feel too restrictive. I've even seen people talk indirectly about this in the forum and community, like selecting the clock colour, etc etc. Like for example, I wanted to keep this slate grey theme, but with red accents since I have a OnePlus device. But I have no way to change that currently, and I'm stuck with the pastel violet. Solution: While obviously letting the user select the whole colour spectrum wouldn't be a sensible solution, but a small (optional) button below the preset options would be nice. If clicked, the menu would enlarge a bit and a new row would be added at the bottom. There users can select the primary, secondary and accent colours, and the system would fill the rest of the shades by itself as usual. Just 3, not more not less. Would be a great add-on I think. What do you think?

When creating a theme, I cannot select whether to apply the wallpaper to the lock screen or home screen, it is always applied to both. I'd also like the option to do this when selecting a photo from my photos app.

i updated my niagra app recently and I've noticed that the icon selection choice (in edit icon option) for an app is now a predetermined row of icons and I can't access the entire icon list. i vastly prefer the old version because it should be our option to decide what icon we put and not some premade category based option list. is there some way to pick the icons like before that I'm not aware of? please revert it to original if there isn't. thanks :)

Hello Niagara Launcher Team: I have been using Niagara Launcher alongside Samsung One UI, and I wanted to suggest possible support for Samsung’s new “Now Bar” feature introduced in One UI 8.5. The Now Bar allows live notifications and glanceable information directly from the lock screen and system UI. I think Niagara’s minimalist design philosophy would pair extremely well with this system, especially for clean live activity integration and contextual information. I would love to see Niagara explore compatibility or integration with the Now Bar framework if Samsung’s APIs allow it. Thank you for all the work you continue to put into Niagara Launcher.

Pressing the home button used to work fine (except for the delay that’s already reported), but now that I press it, looks like it closes the launcher and brings it back up again. But weirdly every other press it hides my custom widget. Also, pressing it won’t hide the search like it used to, but brings that just back up. I’ve tried restarting the phone and replacing the widget. Been happening for some weeks at least, and I’ve been just lazily hoping for it to be fixed.
